Installation

Installation should be in accordance with AS 1884 -1985. Sub floors need to be either concrete or hardboard and must be smooth, hard, clean and dry before applying planks or tiles. Prior to laying, flooring should be stored at a constant temperature between 16°C and 26°C for a period of 24 hours. After installation these temperatures must be maintained for 24 hours to ensure the adhesive has reached its maximum bond strength.

Care & maintenance

All floors require some type of regular care to maintain their beauty. Kenbrock Planks and Tiles are easy to care for and will provide many years of satisfaction by following these simple maintenance suggestions:

1. Vacuum or sweep regularly to remove any loose dirt or grit.
2. Wash your floors with 'Kenbrock Maintain'.
3. Over time some dulling may occur in high traffic areas. To restore the floors lustre vacuum or sweep floors and clean with 'Kenbrock Remove'. Then apply 2-3 coats of 'Kenbrock Rejuvenate'. Either full gloss or satin.

 

To further protect your Floorworks floor from high surface traffic, use entrance matting at doors and place felt protectors on the legs of easily moved furniture – lifting rather than sliding it across the floor.
