KENBROCK

And the Environment...

At Kenbrock we are committed to leave our children a world as environmentally ethical as the one we inherited. For us, the recognition of what creates the least impact is primary.

1. Deforestation
The biggest environmental impact on the world today is the clearing and removal of trees and natural vegetation. We don't need to be clearing our timber forests to lay as our floors. Kenbrock timber finish floors deliver all the natural beauty of timber, without the removal of a single tree.

2. Quarries
There are no gaping quarries left behind when you lay a Kenborock slate or stone pattern as your floor. Patterns and textures are aesthetically accurate, delivering all the beauty with none of the impact.

3. Low Maintenance
Kenbrock smooth surface floors rarely require much more than dusting or wiping over with a damp mop. No need for power consuming vacuum cleaners, polluting lacquers, toxic timber or slate sealers or strong detergents. Less maintenance equals less environmental impact.

Recycling
Kenbrock vinyls and rubbers are all recyclable. Although there are variations in our extensive ranges, our flooring is manufactured, to the maximum degree possible, using recycled materials.

Health
Smooth flooring is especially beneficial to those suffering with respiratory problems, as there is nowhere for mites and allergens to hide. The resilience of rubber and vinyl floors makes it easier on the feet and legs than hard stone/slate surfaces, quieter than 'echoey' floor boards and generally warmer than both.
